6 month contract to hire position for a MF developer
Responsibilities:
The Software Developer is primarily responsible for assisting in the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into code modules and software solutions and the development, configuration, or modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments
The Software Developer is also responsible for assisting in the implementation, maintenance and production support of business software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.
Skills and
Experience:
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and 1 to 5
years of experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
o1 to 3
years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
o1 to 4
years of experience in database technologies
o1 to 2
years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
o1 to 4
years of experience working with application and integration middleware
o1 to 4
years of IT experience in the retail industry
o1 to 4
years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
o1 to 4
years of experience with Web Services
o1 to 3
years of experience in reviewing technical documentation, providing feedback and mentoring more junior team members
o1 to 4
years of experience with Abendaid, Fileaid, Strobe, Xpediter, or equivalent toolsets, to assist with mainframe development
o1 to 3
years of experience in the definition, understanding and interpretation of a batch job scheduler
o1 to 2
years of experience in the customization, configuration, and/or implementation of PeopleSoft in an enterprise environment

years of experience in the development of data interfaces into/out from the PeopleSoft FSCM ERP

years of experience in COBOL, VSAM / IDCAMS, FileAid,CICS,DB2/SQL, Endevor, JCL, TSO/ISPF,IMS, Xpediter, Easytrieve, Zeke, NDM, z/OS.OS/390
