0 Mooresville, NC Mooresville, NC Full-time Full-time $20 - $24 an hour $20 - $24 an hour 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago Position Purpose The Client Support Specialist (CSS) is an integral member of the Client Accounting Services (CAS) Team, acting as a liaison between the client and the firm.
This role is responsible for the overall client experience from onboarding through the coordination of service delivery.
The CSS will allow the accountants and CPAs to more proactively serve clients and provide the high-quality work we are known for.
Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the CSS are:
Manages the client onboarding process and attends client-kick off meetings Manages engagement letter process and facilitates final signatures Sets clients up in systems and trains client on software Serves as the main contact for client coordination and communication Schedules client meetings; organizes data ahead of time; coordinates attendance by team members Responds to client requests and routes to the correct team member if not resolved by the CSS Coordinates between the client service team and client to ensure documents and other information required for the client engagement are ready as needed Facilitates filings and e-filings Assists with 1099s and other payroll reporting Provides billing assistance Facilitates client offboarding and closing out of files Assists with proposal development, presentations, and other administrative needs during the sales process Attends department and firmwide meetings as scheduled Prepares Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoints as requested Serves as backup to the other Client Support Specialists during absences and heavy workload periods Other projects as assigned Knowledge and Skills Requirements Ideal candidates will have either a minimum of three years of prior administrative experience or the minimum of an Associate degree A degree in Business Administration or Accounting is a plus Experience with a public accounting firm or professional services firm is highly desired One or more years of client service experience preferred Is comfortable working digitally Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook; PowerPoint is a plus Bookkeeping and Accounting setup and operations Payroll setup and operations Demonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability and confidence to communicate with clients as well as all levels of team members from partners to associates Shows discretion when handling confidential information Manages multiple client and internal projects simultaneously; can prioritize effectively Exhibits critical thinking and good judgment in decision-making; can problem-solve and provide solutions to new or unique needs Shows strong attention to detail Represents the firm in a positive, professional manner REH CPA is a progressive firm in Mooresville, NC.
