Summary:
Bottom of the 9th, our team's up one run, and we're just two outs away from a World Series championship.
Who do we call on? Hopefully, it's YOU, the CLOSER! The team you will play for is White Oak Property Group, and although we can't brag about any World Series rings, we have graduated from Little League as we've expanded our land investment company's footprint into over 10 states! With the help of a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual like yourself, our eyes are set for the big leagues.
As a Transaction Coordinator, your #1 responsibility will be making sure our deals get to the finish line.
This will be accomplished by having a team player mindset as you coordinate with attorneys and assist our sellers and buyers with closings.
Although the job title is for Transaction Coordinator, we separate ourselves from competition by being RELATIONAL in a very transactional industry (ex:
Chicfila vs McDonalds).
A customer-focused southern hospitality approach, a scrappy problem-solving mindset, strong organizational skills/attention-to-detail, and the willingness to learn are your 4 pitches that will get you out of about any jam.
When you're not closing for us, we will also be calling you out of the bullpen to assist us in managing and coordinating various administrative tasks related to real estate transactions (ex:
property level due diligence, evaluating comps, etc.
).
Ideal Office Hours are between 8am-2pm or 9am-3pm M-F, but keeping your priorities is our priority as well.
This position is perfect for a part-time real estate agent and/or parent seeking structure and job stability without sacrificing the freedom and flexibility to pick up your kids from school, attend functions, and other important life events.
Additionally, once the initial training period is complete and you become fully qualified/competent to work independently, enjoy the opportunity and freedom to work remotely a couple days a week as well! Although we hire for character and train for skills, some real estate experience is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate transactions from start to finish - Prepare and review contracts, addendums, and other transaction documents - Communicate with sellers, buyers, attorneys and other parties involved in the transaction - Schedule and coordinate property level due diligence (ex:
calling the county, scheduling photography, appraisals, etc) - Running comps to determine property valuation - Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction files and records - Assist with data entry and document management - Manage calendars and schedule appointments - Provide administrative support to the real estate team as needed Skills:
- Experience as a REAL ESTATE AGENT/TRANSACTION COORDINATOR or similar customer service role is a HUGE PLUS (real estate paralegal/banking/dental receptionist, etc) - Proficient at conducting real estate related tasks such as navigating a county's GIS, researching the Register of Deeds to search for title/easements/etc, and performing property level due diligence (preferred but not required) - Resourcefulness & Problem Solving Mindset - Strong Communication & Follow-up skills with teammates and clients - Ability to plan and coordinate events or projects effectively - Excellent calendar management skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to transcribe information accurately - Comfortable working with computerized systems for data management - Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial record keeping (had to throw this in here:
I hate taxes) Why Choose Us:
- FUN! We believe in working hard, but have plenty of fun along the way (ex:
it's not uncommon for us to PLAY PICKLEBALL after completing our work) - FITS! Playing good is more important to us than looking good.
Enjoy a laid-back work environment where you get to decide if you want to dress it up or dress it down that day.
No team uniform or boring dress codes here.
- FREE FRAPPE! Aside from land investing, the one thing we know how to do at White Oak Property Group is concoct A+
grade coffee from our Nespresso machine.
Stand on the shoulders of giants and enjoy the perk of premium hot or iced coffee that will put money in your pocket with a recipe that could put Starbucks out of business.
- FULFILLING! If punching the clock, performing the same mundane tasks, and never having anything interesting to tell your family sounds miserable to you, we agree Luckily for us, no matter how many deals we close on, it seems each new deal presents us with at least one unique challenge that keeps us engaged and on our toes.
Additionally, we are communicating with different buyers and sellers from all over the US on a weekly basis.
We have some interesting conversations with some interesting folks - you'll always have a good story to tell! - FLEXIBILITY! This position is ideal for a part-time real estate agent and/or parent of school-aged children who is seeking some additional structure and job security that doesn't come at the expense of your freedom and priorities.
We are hiring for someone to work 30-40hr/wk (ideally 8a-2p/9a-3p M-F), but the hours you're in the office can be tailored around your schedule within reason.
- FREEDOM! It is important we spend some initial time training you in the office to get you up to speed with our systems and processes.
However, once you're fully qualified and competent to work independently, enjoy the opportunity to work remote from home a couple days per week! - FINANCES! Competitive pay starting at $18/hr up to $20/hr once fully qualified and competent to work independently Bonus program based on the number of deals closed If you are a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent attention-to-detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM! We encourage you to apply for the Transaction Coordinator position.
