Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone who supports and embodies our company's mission, vision, and core values and who has a passion for animals and their wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Assist our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and exam room assistants with daily needs.
Provide compassionate care to our clients and patients.
Educate clients.
Restraint of both canines and felines Perform laboratory procedures.
Perform nail trims and anal gland expression.
Preparation of both surgery and dental suite.
Upkeep and stocking of examination rooms, treatment area, surgery and dental suite.
Administer and perform venipuncture, immunizations, and other diagnostic procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
High level of integrity, respect, and professionalism.
Self-starter and self-motivated.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable and able to work a flexible work schedule.
