This role will comprise of cleaning and administration, responsible for maintaining play areas indoor and outdoor, website and social media duties and working with management on bettering the company.
Dog care responsibilities will be supervised until competence can be demonstrated by the Independent Contractor.
Previous experience as a doggy daycare attendant at a facility daycare is preferred, but not required.
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
As such, you will be paid an hourly rate and responsible for saving and paying your own taxes at the end of the year.
Holly's Dog Sitting is not responsible for withholding taxes from your paycheck.
Pay will be $20-25 an hour depending on experience, not to exceed $1200 a month.
You may also eligible for tips from clients if given to you.
Availability is flexible and can be discussed.
This position may be long term, but currently is a 3-month contract.

Independent Contractor Cleaning - 50% o Responsible for sanitization of all dog related items, including crates, bedding, bowls and toys o Responsible for maintaining a clean play yard, proper disposal of animal waste, watering grass, and washing off outdoor furniture and patio/deck materials o Indoor Cleaning:
Vacuuming, mopping all floors, cleaning of walls and baseboards, cleaning area rugs and removing messes from dog playtime o Ensure all dog fluids are properly disposed of and cleaned with appropriate cleaners o Weekly laundry duties for dog blankets, bedding, and other items impacted from doggy daycare and boarding Administration & Social Media o Maintenance of client records in booking platform and scheduling o Communicating with clients for items such as outstanding payments, vaccine records, and pickup and drop off times o Website and social media updates and maintenance o Creative ideas for social media, website updates, report cards and other improvements to the business are kindly appreciated! Dog Care - 30% o Monitor dogs in play areas, maintain a clean environment and manage dog behavior o Play fetch, run sniff & seek activities, and snuggle sessions! o Provide excellent customer service when assisting Front Desk during check-in and check-out o Keeping dogs quiet and entertained when requested during work hours M-F, 9-5 o Adherence to Holly's Dog Sitting safety protocols and procedures to ensure dogs are in the safest environment possible o Photography and Videography of pets o Occasional bath and brushing of dogs when needed o Assist in walks and weddings when necessary Administration & social media - 20% o Learn all the administrative tools used by Holly's Dog Sitting - booking platform, Wix website, Canva o Update vaccines for pet parents, monitor and respond to emails o Maintain social media and website The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with flexible or open availability, who can jump in when needed.

Someone who is reliable and shows up, is creative, attention to details and fluent in customer service, social media management and pet care.
