Position
Summary:
Plans and coordinates the daily operational activities of assigned FeedNC programs.
Assists the Program Director with program development, grant planning, and program administration and implementation.
Serve as internal and external operational and administrative liaison, assist with marketing FeedNC programs, and report on program outcomes and impact in the community in collaboration with the program Director.
Program Coordination Serve as contact for program partner and public inquiries, program-related speaking opportunities, and donor and volunteer communications.
Prepare and coordinate development of promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, forms, curriculum, and brochures for FeedNC programs.
Maintain daily and monthly program schedules.
Assist Program Director with grant and/or proposal writing for drive funding.
Assist with maintaining program database, collecting and analyzing data to access and reporting the impact of all FeedNC programs.
Collaborate with Volunteer Director to ensure all FeedNC programs are sufficiently staffed.
Supervise and train staff, student employees, volunteers, and/or interns, as needed.
Assist Program Director with facilitating seminars, meetings, and problem resolution.
Serve as liaison between participants, staff, partners, and/or external stakeholders regarding operational and administrative issues.
Administrative Responsibilities Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls.
Handle calls if within area of responsibility, route calls appropriately, take messages, or redirect calls as needed.
Provide administrative support as needed in the development, implementation, and marketing of FeedNC programs.
Prepare articles for the monthly e-newsletter.
Update FeedNC calendar and communicate upcoming events and happening to staff.
Assist with maintaining and updating the FeedNC website and social media sites.
Participate in fundraising events.
Prepare FeedNC correspondence including thank you notes, letters, and other promotional items for Executive Directo approval.
Client Service and Special Events Build and maintain relationships with ministry and community partners.
Represent FeedNC as needed within the community.
Greet guests, evaluate needs, assist them when needed or refer them to the appropriate staff member.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned by the Executive Director.
Education &
Experience:
Preferred bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field or equivalent experience.
Two years of experience in program development or facilitation.
